Yolocone : join me on my trip to Houston from Chicago for ” Buffalo Bayou Mural Festival 2024

Painting this mural was an incredible experience, blending the raw energy of traditional graffiti with the serene beauty of West Texas scenery. I started by laying down bold, dynamic graffiti lettering as the foundation, using vibrant colors and sharp lines to create a striking contrast. Then, I integrated elements of the West Texas landscape—expansive skies, rugged mountains, and desert flora—to weave the natural environment into the urban aesthetic. The challenge was balancing the intensity of graffiti with the tranquility of the character and scenery, but layering textures and harmonizing colors brought everything together.
